Please add support for mkv. And other formats Also I cannot see the video files from camera roll
Quit working on July 3. I hoped it gets fixed. This has been a great option to show numerous vacation photos on iPad, due to lack of its storage. The app has been buggy and no directions with it. But after figuring out how to operate it it is nice. Hope they fix it and improve the app and include directions . When it works it is great. At present it is now useless until fixed.
IReader is awesome.... And not expensive at all compared to Apples version. IDiskk Pro allows the reader to work on your iOS device. Go look at the videos out there to see the little secret that is not obvious on the ireader. It has a micro USB connector. Yes it does...when I was watching a video on the ireader and iDiskk Pro...and the guy pulls out the micro USB, I was freaking in awe... So...for $13.00 I paid, I feel like I ripped it off. Its a gem!!!
On an iPhone SE, the app does not work with the iReader ("iDiskk is not connected"). However, it does work with the same SD card on an older iPad. Please update the device compatibility for the new iPhones.
I am very happy so far it will display the jpg from the iDisk drive also will display .mov files.
I cant get this to work on my IPhone 6+. Stay away from this one to hard to use
I NEED help..just bought it 1 month ago..but now the idiskk cannot detect to my pc/laptop..☹️ how to fix it?
My iDrive worked perfectly prior to the most recent update!! Now, the app shuts down and I cant use or access the files. Im NOT happy.
Software keeps freezing up. Need to uninstall and reinstall, so far every 10-15 songs.
If you want this app to work with the card reader it comes with dont buy it. It does nothing. Does not save yo your iPad. Does not allow using iMovie or any other third party app for editing. Basically it only works to view video on your sd card. No file transfer capability and no support. Worthless.
Terrible user interface. Do not use this app or any product that requires using it.
Worked great first few times on iPhone 6. Then it recognizes on iPad mini 4 but will not load photos. Very aggravating.
App is okay but I feel that adding thumbnails would make it much easier to find the files I am looking for
Seems to be a little picky about when you insert the memory card, but other than that it works very well in my opinion. So far, all the basic functions you would expect from this kind of software seem to run smoothly. Would definitely recommend.
I updated my phone the day before recieving this disk. The app does not seem to work with iOS 9.3.4. When in the app and clicking on iPhone, it shows nothing. My iPad is running 9.2.1 and it seems to work over there, but I dont have the same photos there, so its useless to back up my phones photos.
Cant play some video file & cannot open the video in another app... Need "open in" another app and/or "share" to another app feature so files that cant be opened with this app can be opened with other app...
The first two iPhones and tablets worked great, when I copied my wifes she had 8,0456 photos and the iDiskk for some reason is having "issues" seeing all 8000 photos it only sees 505 at a time and the videos and not showing up to through the software menus When its reading the phone, A bit irritating and disappointed. Others wise this is a heck of an invention... Bye bye iTunes (the most complicated soft ware on the friendly user market) I hate I tunes!
So far this app works great for me. I usually delete my videos on my iphone and save it on idiskk external drive, the problem is i have a lot of videos and its hard to find the one i want to watch because theres no thumb image on video files. Hopefully on the next update you could do something, the only solution for me now is to rename each video. Thanks idiskk.billy
I do not know why app is trying to communicate to external server. It is also not clear what it is trying to communicate. I hope Apple checked it.
